This role will have responsibility to deliver the business and marketing plan (including activations) for DIAGEO brands in Ukraine, Belarus, Moldova and Caucasas - and identify areas for growth to beat the competition.
The role gives breadth of stakeholder management and requires a lot of travel.
This role will set and deliver the marketing plans in conjunction with total category plans led by EPM Marketing Managers.
The role requires influence and building relationships with a wide range of stakeholders. The incumbent should build strong partnership relationships with Commercial functions and local partner team to lead local plans execution & content delivery for portfolio and with HUB Marketing team across the Hub.
Work with Europe Category Managers to set the brand strategy for the assigned portfolio through JUBP/GAME process. Ongoing liaison with category Marketing Managers to ensure two- way search & spin of growth drivers execution.
Is responsible for the delivery of AOP and financial target, performance reporting for portfolio and support Country Manager in overall performance management for the market. Supervise its execution and be able to intervene if performance is off-track.
Supervise and develop marketing teams at distributor’s side in 4 markets (Ukraine, Belarus, Moldova and Caucasas). Be great team-player and colleague in Europe Consumer Marketing team. Set up ways of working and Diageo standards of execution in all markets.
Identify opportunities for growth, by working closely with Commercial team and local partners team.
Build great relationships with key stakeholders in business and be able to influence up&down, including EPM Leadership Team, Europe Supply and Finance teams and key distributor contacts.
Supervise execution of brand strategy and activities done by distributor teams in line with global strategy and brand personality.
Become DMC and Compliance role model, but also influence others to obey these rules
Lead all activations and be responsible for brilliant execution of all activation plans.
What we’re looking for:
At least 4 years marketing or customer marketing experience in FMCG business with proven track of records
Great team player with ability to manage cross-functional teams and senior stakeholders
Strong commercial awareness with ability to draw conclusions based on limited data
Experience of working with distributors an advantage. Experience of working with Customer Marketing would be an asset.
Proven excellence in execution
Able to manage multiple priorities
CIS knowledge/ experience an advantage
Line Management experience an advantage
Fluent English and Russian, Kazakh is a plus
PC advanced user (MS Office: Word, Excel, Power Point, Outlook)
Must be a self-starter and be prepared to work independently; this is a new role with NO way of working to follow plus the team will be functioning as a virtual marketing team so there will not be constant supervision and situational coaching.
