We are currently recruiting for an experienced Account Executive to focus on business development in the telecommunications industry. You will focus on developing personal relationships within a list of accounts. Reporting directly to the industry sales manager for Russia you will have the primary responsibility for building high level customer and partner relationships and for driving execution of sales engagements within the targeted accounts and territory. Account Executives are accountable for continuous account planning that drives short-term and long-term growth, new customer footprints/applications, accurate forecasting, and field relationships with Partners to expand coverage within the territory, and for working with Professional Services and Teradata Customer Services to build a sustainable consulting and services revenue stream. Note: This is a quota-carrying position.

Qualifications

We seek a sales professional with significant experience of successful enterprise sales and who delights in the personal challenge of hunting for new accounts and developing a business.

Essential:

  • Enterprise IT solutions knowledge and experience is critical – ideally related to Business Intelligence & Data Warehousing & Analytics

  • Telecommunications Industry knowledge is must

  • A portfolio of multi-level customer contacts within one or more companies in the targetted industry and territory

  • We ideally require experience in selling, combined with existing customer relationships, in specific account: MTS

  • Experience in selling and articulating the value of large enterprise IT solutions, preferably but not essentially based on database technology, business intelligence and associated solutions and services, to customers and prospects.

  • Degree level education required

  • 5 years of demonstrable success in new business sales and for achieving sales targets in the telco industry. 10 total years in IT sales.

  • Solution-selling skills

  • Excellent communication, presentation and interpersonal skills

  • Good English language skills, fluent/native Russian
