Responsible for and lead all FSQR activies in Cargill Animal Nutrition(CAN) Russia to include assisting with strategic and tactical planning in alignment with CFSRA and CAN business unit plans. Directs development and management of all Food Safety, Quality and Regulatory (FSQR) systems in the business including: continuous improvement of FSQR processes and systems, implementing FSQR policies , ensuring connectivity and collaboration between business functions, assisting with talent management, directing management of the overall external FSQR environment including customer, supplier and regulatory interfaces for the business. Key member of the country Operations leadership team.
Develop, implement and assess processes/systems (30%)– directs implementation of all FSQR, specification and management of change systems across a CAN business, drives continuous improvement, provides input to CAN business leadership related to base/non-base capital needs to maintain food safety leadership position
Ensure compliance of regulations/policies (20%) – assumes ultimate accountability for all FSQR compliance, direction and activities across a CAN Business/country, analyzes and interprets CAN FSQR policies, regulations, customer and supplier standards, directs implementation of FSQR policies, customer and supplier standards across a CAN Business, act as liason with regulatory authorities at a national level
Perform prevention activities and issue resolution (20%) – ensure connectivitiy and collaboration between FSQR and other functions across facilities in a CAN country/Business, mediates and ensure resolution for Business, leads BU crisis management team, directs work with suppliers/external manufacturers, proactively anticipates risk and takes preventative action across a CAN country/business, accountable for completion of facility audits and proactively address risk areas
Shape food safety, quality and regulatory culture/reputation (15%) – responsible as central FSQR interface with customer and suppliers for the CAN business, builds internal and external partnerships, ensure customer complaint issues addressed, lead implementation of platform strategy to ensure a highly engaged FSQR workforce
People/resource/budget management (15%) – lead talent management of employees in FSQR organization for the country/business; coordinates talent management efforts with the regional platform FSQR Manager and other BU FSQR leaders in the platform, build and develop effective, engaged FSQR workforce across the CAN country/business, develop strategic and tactical FSQR plans for a CAN business in alignment with platform, corporate FSQR and BU objectives, key member of the CAN Ops business leadership team
Minimum 5 years experience in Quality or Food Safety in feed, premix manufacturing business.
Fluent in English.
Intermediate Auditing/Compliance: Applies auditing/quality compliance skills to identify & manage risks/compliance.
Intermediate Knowledge of Food Laws and Regulations: Stays up-to-date and ensures compliance with food laws and regulations.
Intermediate HAACP Knowledge/Implementation - Applies HACCP to identify and control food safety hazards
Intermediate Customer Specifications Management: Interfaces effectively with customers; ensures products meet customer specifications; answers questions and solves customer problems.
Intermediate Supplier Quality Assurance - Identifies and addresses supplier quality issues.
Intermediate Managing and Improving Processes - Delivers processes that are aligned, effective, and optimize Cargill resources.
Intermediate Plant/Manufacturing Knowledge - Demonstrates practical knowledge of manufacturing processes and operations.
Intermediate Project Management - Applies a structured, disciplined approach to planning, administering and completing projects successfully.
Intermediate Knowledge Cargill Policies & Standards - Applies CFSRA policy and standards to enhance food safety and quality.
Intermediate Training - Delivers intermediate learning solutions that engage leaners and provides desired outcomes
