Head of Electrical Solutions Department

location: Moscow, Russia

The responsibilities include driving top line revenue growth for a key segments in the business and improving customer engagement with and usage of existing and new products. He/She will develop and execute the strategic plan for the segments. Responsibilities also include identifying market and competitive trends, developing and refining relevant business value propositions to match these trends as well as working on marketing strategies and programs to drive growth in the segments.

Essential Functions:

  • Develop and leverage an in-depth understanding of customer needs within the segments.

  • Search for new business opportunities within the local market in line with the country strategy.

  • Ensure implementation of specific activities (e.g. marketing activities, product promotion, customer relationship activities, etc.) for a defined group of customers in collaboration with the local team.

  • Execute strategic customer analysis and prioritization that clearly defines growth opportunities within the segments.

  • Identify segment’s opportunities, develop strategies and value proposition to differentiate Eaton from the competition and drive revenue growth.

  • Drive implementation, monitor, coordinate and execute potential new projects.

  • Provide timely follow-up and cost management associated with those opportunities.

  • Identify market and competitive trends that are impacting segment’s customers and those that are seen as opportunities for new business.

  • Ensure standard and ad hoc reports are delivered on time according Eaton standards and policies.

  • Continue to develop and grow our strong base of existing customers by further penetrating existing customers with new products or reposition existing products and capabilities.

  • Develop a process to gather and communicate appropriate competitive intelligence to drive strategy development and educate the field on marketplace dynamics.

  • Manage the team of sales and applications engineer.

Qualifications

Qualifications:

  • Segment Management Experience (not less 10 years).

  • Ability to identify and realize new business opportunities.

  • Proven track of win projects.

  • Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, an absolute must. Formal presentation skills is a definite plus.

  • Must be able to accomplish results in a cross-functional team environment, exhibiting formal and informal leadership skills and a strong goal / results orientation.

  • Co-operation skills (customers external and internal), teamwork, goodwill.

  • Ability to withstand pressure.

  • Full Eaton's electrical product portfolio knowledge, incl but not limited to UPS, LV, MV, etc.

  • Fluent written and spoken English, excellent grammar skills in Russian.
