Principal, Head of Mastercard Advisors Russian Cluster
Mastercard Advisors, the professional services arm of Mastercard Worldwide, provides payments-focused consulting, marketing, information and risk management services to Financial Institutions, Merchants, Capital Markets and Government Agencies worldwide.
Mastercard Advisors is comprised of three synergistic business units: Consulting Services, Information Services, and Managed Services.
This Senior Level position will be focused on business development and sales representing all three areas within the Russian Cluster (Russia, Kazakhstan, Belarus and Armenia) with key clients representing Financial Institutions, Merchants / Retailers across a range of industries, as well as Capital Markets and Government Agencies. This role will also
ensure timely and successful delivery of all engagements in the region. He/She will be an active team leader who looks after clients largely independently, runs projects and manages C-level relationships with Clients. He/she will be responsible for both sales and revenue targets in the region
Translate market development objectives into sales strategies for all markets in Russia, Kazakhstan, Belarus and Armenia
Perform comprehensive analysis to establish deep understanding of market and Client needs and potential solutions to identify the most critical aspects of a problem
Build relationship network with internal and external stakeholders, project sponsors and decision-makers to enable relevant support is aligned with core business objectives
Identify new business opportunities and develop new solutions that meet market and Client needs and communicate to both internal the Companys executives and Client executives
Develop sales-support materials (i.e. presentations, business cases etc.) that articulate the compelling nature of the Companys services qualitatively and quantitatively to address client challenges
Manage the end-to-end business development and sales cycle from client needs identification through contractual development and execution including writing well-structured and persuasive proposals
Manage large engagements which are very strategic and require senior level project direction Manage and/or contribute to all project delivery efforts utilizing core consultancy skills and industry knowledge (e.g. perform project management or subject matter expertise input responsibilities as appropriate)
Ensure engagement quality, leading post-implementation review activities and follow-on opportunity identification together with project teams
Manage sales and revenue targets for the markets and business lines
Participate in recruiting and training activities
All About You
Solid Business Development and Project Management experience with a proven track record achieving and exceeding revenue targets
Expertise in Financial services and Payments Systems
Strong Experience in a top tier management consulting firm at minimum management level is required
Undergraduate degree or equivalent required, MBA or relevant post graduate degree would be beneficial
Excellent interpersonal, written and oral communication skills.
