Area Sales Manager
Duties and responsibilities
Drive sales by developing and maintaining relationships with end customers, and business partners.
Create demand and achieve annual sales goals by consultative selling and regular call patterns.
Proactively and continuously analyze existing customer accounts to determine potential needs.
Maintain excellent industry/territory knowledge by reviewing and understanding market data of competitive activity, and therefore be able to adapt to change in marketplace.
Support business partners to create demand, to develop/execute strategy and to close orders
Participate in joint sales calls and training with business partners.
Ensure that end-customers and partners are adequately trained on new and existing products.
Attend local, regional and/or national trade shows and association meetings.
Maintain and utilize the given tool for sales reporting and communicate sales activities.
Maintain awareness of all Allegion policies, guidelines and procedures and ensure compliance.
Maintain and submit timely and accurate reports in accordance with agreed format & frequency
Adhere to the highest standards of professional and ethical conduct in representing self and the company.
University degree or engineering diploma (technical education)
Strong commercial sales experience and acumen with at least 3-5 years proven track record in project business
Good knowledge of mechanical & electronic products, expertise within the Security Industry is nice to have
Fluent in English & Russian, fluent in Ukrianian is nice to have
High flexibility and willingness to travel
Excellent interpersonal and negotiating skills
High customer orientation
The ability to identify key stakeholders in a decision making process
Self motivated, and – organized with a pro-active approach to problem solving
Profound knowledge of Microsoft Office applications
Having driving license cat B and have no travel restrictions
Knowledge of CIS markets and customers
Ability to manage competing priorities with multiple projects and strict time constraints
Strong commercial acumen
