We are growing and can’t wait to help paint Russia pink! We have an exciting new opportunity to lead and build the team in Russia as our Country Manager! The Country Manager is responsible for driving the business locally through motivation, relationships, initiative, business acumen, passion and tenacity. Management of the Too Faced Russian field team and handling operational responsibilities for Russia are the main functions of the Country Manager.

This is a field position that will be based in Moscow, centrally located by IDB HQ.

THIS IS HOW YOU WORK IT:

  • Recruit, lead, manage, motivate and retain the best sales performers in Russia to form a high calibre field force focused on driving retail to achieve month retail targets set.

  • Coach and support Russian field team to develop and maintain relationships at all levels inclusive of Store Directors and Area Managers.

  • Develop strong and durable relationships with all retail partners in Russia, inclusive of Buyers, Category Managers, Social Media, Merchandising and Marketing teams within designated territory.

  • Participate together with the Commercial Manager at the commercial negotiations with IDB including cost share, counter/Gondola/FSU space allocation, in store location and new door openings within the designated territory.

  • Meet the sell-out target by store to designated territory.

  • Allocate resources and track spend and return on investment within budget parameters as set on the Trade Marketing Plan approved by the Commercial Manager and General Manager - EMEA and in accordance with actual sales trend to protect bottom line to designated territory.

  • Protect the Too Faced brand equity by ensuring that global visual guidelines are adhered to at all times. Partner with US headquarters in promoting a consistent customer experience worldwide.

  • Manage relationship with EU Merchandising Partner in conjunction with US headquarters.

  • Partner with US headquarters for all back office functions.

  • Strive to build and promote positive values in a motivational working environment for all Russian field-based Too Faced employees within designated territory.

  • Manage day-to-day operations ensuring the ’24 hour response time’ rule is adhered to.

  • Forecast annual retail sales targets by door in conjunction with the Commercial Manager

  • Analyze retail productivity and performance by store on a weekly and monthly basis providing key comments and follow-up action plans in accordance.

  • Compile and execute individual Russian field team member training and development plans in conjunction with the EMEA leadership team.

  • Manage the execution of the global training program via training sessions at store level and in the field in conjunction with the EMEA leadership team.

  • Ensure weekly communication with each Russian field team member together with a weekly ‘all team’ conference call (with the Commercial Manager).

  • Ensure Russian field team member expenses are compiled on time and are within budget.

  • Assist the Commercial Manager with annual Strategy Meetings in designated market.

  • Attend and present NPD at local Press Events ensuring the brand DNA is upheld at all times.

  • All other duties as assigned.

THIS IS WHAT YOU’RE MADE OF:

  • Beauty retail channel experience required

  • At least 5+ years of Beauty/Cosmetics experience

  • Experience leading and managing medium to large teams

  • Excellent presentation skills

  • Computer literate (MS Word, MS PowerPoint, MS Excel, MS Outlook)

  • Ability to meet deadlines and work in a fast-paced environment

  • Good communication, writing, and interpersonal skills in both local market language and English

  • Demonstrates leadership ability/potential

  • Able to work independently, as well as with a group

  • Dedicated and detail oriented

  • Self-starter with willingness to work hands-on

  • Results-oriented (top and bottom lines)

  • Travel required, approximately 80%
