Import/Export Clerk CIS

The Role

Ensuring inbound purchase orders are processed in a timely manner as well as managing inbound deviations with contacts. Ensure the correct documentation is created in iSCALA and sent to Moscow warehouse in advance of shipments, and to customers if needed. Also invoice documentation needs to occur in compliance with the customer delivery terms within the order specificaiton.

Key Performance Areas

  • Ensure the shipping and commercial documents used for ASN are received at the 3PL on time (FR & WH

  • Create all necessary documents and information for iSCALA receipt (import, local purchasing, etc.)

  • Ensure all iSCALA transactions between / to warehouses occur on time for those that are not covered by Stock Transfer Orders - including Norilsk, Pevek, Magadan, Dukat, - Deviation management

  • Deviation management - work with Warehouse for LPS tickets that need to be sent to supplier at E1861

  • Reconciliation of stock between iSCALA and WMS

  • Take responsibility of the order process once logistics planner sends to Moscow warehouse for pick/pack

  • Coordinate with various departments to realize shipment from Moscow warehouse on time

  • Primary contact for Order Desk in SA during the shipping and documentation process

  • Prepare shipping documents in line with order specifications and send to customer

  • Prepare shipping documents that need to go with shipments from Moscow Warehouse

  • Ensure that the invoicing is done in line with the customer payment terms.

  • Backup cover for colleagues in Logistics Services

  • Other duties within Logistics Services as role evolves and changes

Your Profile

  • Degree in Logistics and/or in International Business studies or knowledge acquired by wide experience in similar duties/functions.

  • 3-5 years experience in order management, customer service or logistics (preferably in aftermarket)

  • Working knowledge of English and Russian Language (spoken and written)

  • Attention to detail

  • Good planning and problem solving skills and be able to quickly resolve issues

  • Analytical Approach

  • Good knowledge and or ability to learn to use system tools (within Sandvik)

  • Good communication skills

  • Ability to work in matrix organization
