Lenovo Country Marketing Manager Russia (for Data Centres) in Moscow, Russia

In this position you will be responsible for driving the Data Centre Marketing activities for Lenovo Data Centre Group in Russia & EECA. You will be accountable for increasing the Lenovo brand consideration in the Data Centre and supporting growth of Lenovo Data Centre Business (i.e. lead generation via marketing programs). You will be responsible of defining the country Data Centre yearly/quarterly marketing plans integrating Lenovo global strategy into the local marketing activities, managing execution of all marketing activities in the country towards end customers and channel partners. You will interact and cooperate with the country Public Relations Manager, Procurement & Finance and other departments.

You will report direct line to Data Centre Marketing Lead for EAST, MEA & CENTRAL Europe and dotted line to the Data Centre RU&EECA; Business Leader. Will closely cooperate with the sales team addressing end customers (Global, Enterprise & public sector and mid market) as well as channel sales teams to define the local programs needed to develop Lenovo Data Centre Business and drive leads. The position will have the support from EMEA marketing organization to build the strategy and execute the plans.

This role requires high levels of autonomy, pro-activity, creativity, strategic thinking and an ability to think and act fast and be proactive and responsive. We would expect the manager to define the local marketing programs and build the local, market and international network to execute the programs according to country requirements.

Your responsibilities will be:

  • Manage country marketing budget, build marketing plans, gain required approvals, execute the activities and provide necessary reporting as required per company policies

  • Increase Lenovo brand consideration in the Data Centre via advertising & communication programs in the traditional and digital space

  • Cooperate with country PR & Communications leader to develop and execute impactful PR and Social media plans

  • Manage Lenovo presence on industry events, set-up and organize Lenovo-driven events for end customers and channel partners.

  • Support channel enablement programs to reinforce product and Lenovo solutions knowledge among the channel partners.

  • Drive leads via targeted marketing programs aimed to end customers – Large to SMB.

  • Coordinate co–marketing activities with channel partners to generate demand.

  • Develop relationship with our strategic Alliances Partners (i.e. Intel, Microsoft) at local level and develop joint initiatives.

  • Support EMEA organization in the execution of global programs – study tours, EMEA events, etc.

  • Identify strong wins in the country and develop case studies and references in the market.

  • Report to country Sales leader & EMEA HQ marketing team on key plans, status, results, best-practices, ideas and priorities on regular basis This position requires overall complex marketing experience, preferably in marketing of Data Centre products or marketing of IT solutions to business customers (B2B). The individual must show passion for technology and people, have strong analytical/problem solving skills, demonstrated success in managing projects and “making things happen”, strong communication skills (verbal and written), and be a motivated self-starter. The ideal candidate has deep empathy and connection with IT/Business audiences, and a willingness to be bold and innovative in our approach to address the current IT changing marketplace.

Experience :

  • Minimum 5 years’ marketing experience in B2B area – preferably Enterprise/Corporate IT Solutions

  • Understanding of the Russian B2B market - end customers and channel partners.

  • Up-to-date knowledge of the news & trends in the tech industry

  • Highly motivated, results-driven strategic thinker, who has strong leadership and business fundamentals with high degree of creative flair

  • Must demonstrate strong understanding of marketing tools to develop a brand and drive leads in B2B

  • Experience in creating strategies and driving communication campaigns with drive solid results to demonstrate those skills.

  • Proven ability to successfully deal with complex issues, problems, and challenges

  • Strong communication, presentation skills. Ability to present results at senior level. Influencing (soft) skills - ability to influence and collaborate across various groups/departments.

  • Self-starter and “Doer” that makes things happen.

  • Good organization skills – ensure end-to-end execution planned activities, from planning to post-activity reporting.

  • Ability to multitask and perform under pressure.

  • Able to work confidently with local teams but also within a virtual EMEA team.

  • Excellent English skills, written and spoken.

  • Demonstrates industry and networking expertise and ability to gain expertise quickly
