Based on SAP Simplify-Strategy, the purpose of Services Sales is to explore the customer’s desired business outcome, to creating a transformation roadmap based on the customer’s business strategy, to replatforming and implementing end-to-end solutions and continuously driving innovation.

It is Services Sales PCI Vision to be less engaged with by quota-pressure, route-to-budget-reviews etc., but more by setting the standards for Sales success and development.

Expectations & Tasks - Deliverables

A – Generating at least one “Asset of Success”

The candidate will be given the task consisting to generate one “asset for success”. These assets are design to support the services sales team becoming even more professional via efficiencies and/or innovation. Examples for such assets are

  • role specific Learning curriculums including the relevant content

  • a “best of” selection of mobile apps with a “how to Guide” explaining how to install and present these apps to defined target-roles in the customer organization,

  • other Sales Best Practices

  • Cold Contact Scripts

  • Social Engineering Techniques

  • Closing Methodologies

  • Account/Territory Planning

  • Innovative Thinking

  • Presentation/Storytelling / White boarding B – One the Job Support to get an impression of the Services Account Manager (SAM) Job The candidate will be assigned as valuable resource to the whole team and allocated to specific tasks by the sales manager. One SAM member will be assigned as Buddy to generally enable the fellow regarding relevant processes, infrastructure and day to day questions.By means of the operative task during the fellows assignment he will co-work with various SAMs and experience the following typical fields of work:

  • Account and/or Territory Planning

  • Presales, Opportunity & Bid Management

  • Bid Presentation, Negotiation & Closing

  • Forecasting & Order Entry Planning

Learning & Development Opportunities

Regardless from what future responsibilities the fellow decides to take over in the future, he will gain a insight into the areas of

  • value based selling of complex and intangible services and/or ideas

  • stakeholder analysis and decision making/influencing processesThese human interaction related experiences will be valuable not in sales only.

Work Experience

True interest for sales, passion, hands-on mentality is more important than the actual work experienced gathered so far. However it is of course and advantage if the candidate brings in sales and or consulting work experiences.

Education & Qualifications / Skills & Competencies
