PURPOSE AND OBJECTIVES
SAP Digital Business Services is a global organization supporting the world’s largest companies running SAP solutions. We enable and support our customers IT solutions’ operations, upgrades, continuous improvement and quality management.
The Center of Expertise (CoE) St. Petersburg, a subdivision of SAP Digital Business Services, has the goal and mission to ensure optimal performance, availability and smooth operation of SAP software as well as to optimize technical and business processes by delivering services to SAP customers.
EXPECTATIONS AND TASKS
- In your job as Associate Support Engineer, you will have the chance to really see the results of your efforts by directly contributing to the enhancement of our customers’ business and process performance, the stability and reliability of their solutions. You can grow fast in getting a top expert on new technologies and their root cause analysis and optimization secrets. You have to be a good team player as we act as a team also across the globally distributed Backoffice teams, but also you need the ability to drill down into technical issues and solve fiddly problems. As our customers are global players and communication with our colleagues all over the world is daily business, very good English language skills are must. To deliver our services globally to customers, travel of course, is part of the daily business. This role provides you opportunities to work with innovative new solutions including SAP HANA in-memory real-time platform, Mobile and Cloud and develop your skills being part SAP Company – global leader of enterprise software.
EDUCATION AND QUALIFICATIONS / SKILLS AND COMPETENCIES
You are the right person for this job if you bring in the following:
You have a very good University degree in Information Technology, Mathematics, Chemistry, Engineering or Physics
programming skills in one of the major languages e.g. JAVA, C, C , SQL,
DB knowledge, Oracle, MaxDB, DB6, MS SQL, Sybase ASE,
experience of support or implementation of ERP systems
You are willing to travel worldwide
You have strong analytical and logical skills
You enjoy working in an international team
Russian native; very good English is a must
- 2-4 years of work experience
