Join the Informatics Support Team for Agilent's Life Sciences and Applied Markets Group (LSAG) Software and Informatics Division. This team supports the world's leading software for managing laboratory instrumentation, electronic content management, and business process workflows. Our products provide a web based infrastructure for automation of the entire lab, from data generation through analysis and reports. In addition to providing open platform architecture for automation of the entire lab, our software adds value to our instruments resulting in increased sales.

This position can be worked from any Agilent offices across Europe.

In this team your role will include:

  • Assisting Agilent front-line support teams to solve technical issues with informatics software including database, networking, and chromatography issues

  • Managing product escalations during stressed situations when multiple Agilent people teams are involved or when difficult support issues are presented

  • Working directly with customers to solve technical and application issues with informatics software including database, networking, and chromatography questions

  • Enabling Agilent personnel to implement informatics solutions at customer sites through in-depth presales activities and training courses developed and delivered by you

  • Documenting technical solutions to allow customers to better help themselves

  • Working directly on development projects for new informatics solutions by documenting product design and implementation

  • Bachelors or Master Degree or University Degree or equivalent

  • Minimum 2 years experience around regulated laboratory environments. GMPs, FDA21cfr11, ISOs

  • Excellent problem solving and troubleshooting skills

  • Ability to work in a high energy team environment

  • Self management and sound decision making skills are vital to the role.

  • Must be able to work well under pressure.

  • Must have excellent verbal and written communication skills

  • Knowledge of Windows networking and Active Directory

  • Knowledge/experience with Citrix and virtualization techniques is required

  • Excellent working knowledge of Agilent OLCDS products is a must.

  • Knowledge of Agilent Masshunter/MS
